‣ Finance Managing director

The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall financial and accounting systems of the Zoo, including cash room and daily transactional processing; financial operation of POS systems; supervision of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions; and payroll and benefit transactions.

  • Monthly Shut and Reporting
    • Responsible to close books on a monthly basis in a timely manner.
    • Monthly bank reconciliations, including review of all posted cash and credit card transactions.

‣ Conservation Pedagogy Internship

This internship is rooted in the study, concepts, and practices of effective pedagogy techniques applied to Ecology Education. Internship Requirements & Expectations

Conservation Education internships are open to undergraduate, graduate, and recently graduated students. You must be over 18 to participate in our internship. Interns must likewise take a valid driver's license (driving zoo vehicles is required) and reliable transportation to the zoo.

This internship is designed for anyone pursuing a career in: conservation, biology, environmental science, educational activity, or another related field. Preferred candidates would have a background or interest in didactics and/or environmental sciences or biology related field.

Applicants must exist willing and able to work in all types of weather and must be reliable, trustworthy and able to follow oral and/or written instructions. Physical demands and work environment:
