Valheim rockets to 5 million copies sold in just a month
In a new update mail, Iron Gate Studio, the programmer behind the viking-themed survival game Valheim, announced that the game has officially sold five million copies on Steam as of March 3, 2022. Considering the game launched on February 2, this means that Valheim has reached this extraordinary milestone in a month's fourth dimension.
The developers likewise included some other interesting stats nigh how fans have interacted with Valheim. In particular, players have collectively spent 15,000 years playing the game, 35 million hours of gameplay have been watched on Twitch, and Valheim has officially reached number 39 on the highest user-reviewed games on Steam list.
In the mail, the developers took some time to reflect on this crazy achievement.
